Cutting Board Care

Hand Wash Only

  • Do not submerge in water
  • Do not place in dishwasher
  • Do dry immediately after washing

Monthly Maintenance (Or as needed)

  • Apply mineral oil once per month, or at least every other month. Allow to absorb overnight then wipe off excess.
  • For more thorough cleaning, dampen the cutting board with a warm cloth and sprinkle with coarse salt. Cut a lemon in half and use it to rub in the salt while also squeezing some lemon juice out. Let it stand for five minutes and use a scrub brush to remove the excess.

Disinfect the cutting board

  • Mix together 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 1 tablespoon of salt and 3 tablespoons hot water to create a non-toxic cleaning agent. Scrub the entire surface of the cutting board with this paste. Finally, wipe it with a warm wet cloth and dry with a dish towel.

Do not microwave

Do not use vegetable oil or any nut based oil
